Aries 2014 Horoscope
Classical Zodiac sign 2014 astrology forecast
It's an exciting time for Aries in 2014, full of revelations and new insights. That's because of the planet Uranus passing through Aries, which is something lasting several years, from 2012 to 2019.
At some point in that long period, Uranus will form a conjunction with the sun in the horoscope chart of everyone born in Aries. When it happens depends on your birth date – the earlier in Aries it is, the sooner this conjunction will happen. Still, all through these years, every Aries will feel its influence.
Old Ideas ChallengedUranus is the planet of insight, the transition of knowledge into wisdom. It's a symbol of scientific revolution and renewal, where prejudice or misconceptions of old is washed out by new understanding. In Aries, the planet's influence is particularly prone to cause reform and revolution of thought. New ideas replace old ones.
That's very stimulating to Aries, who is eager to challenge old ideas. To Aries, nothing is accepted just because of tradition. While Uranus moves through Aries, every person with Aries as their Zodiac sign will be stimulated and inspired by the new thoughts popping up in society, causing a much needed change.
Big Square ComplicationsIn the 2014 New Year world horoscope, Uranus is connected to several other planets in a pattern of aspects called a Big Square, because they form a square figure in the horoscope chart. This is also something that every Aries will sense and experience in 2014, but especially those who are born by the end of March and early April.
Most important of the involved aspects is the square to the trio of the moon, the sun and Pluto in Capricorn. Those three form a conjunction, which enforces them tremendously and mixes their influence into one force, as if astrologically speaking forming a new planet with its own characteristics.
Mainly, it creates a drastic and deep change of mentality – not particularly in Aries, but in society and especially in how we structure our homes and families (the 2014 world horoscope shows). The cluster is in Capricorn, so this change is one of structure, and it's very ambitious, with the goal of solidifying domestic life.
The square to Uranus shows that the change in thought is not exactly in line with this change of structure, as if the latter is driven not by new insight but rather a conservative return to old ideas. Anyway, that's what it often looks like in the eyes of Aries, who repeatedly feels doubts about it.
Still, this important social force on the way gives Aries plenty of food for thought. What is revealed in the process is good material for making new conclusions about what additional change is really needed, albeit some other time.
Opposite the trio mentioned above is Medium Coeli of the 2014 world horoscope, to which Uranus in Aries also has a square aspect. That's not very significant in the private life of Aries, since it only relates to the world horoscope and therefore mainly to the world as a whole. Still, every Aries may feel a frustration regarding government opposition to the new forms of domestic initiated by citizens. To Aries, it confirms distrust in government.
Opposed to Uranus in Aries is Mars in Libra, when 2014 begins. No Aries is comfortable with Mars in opposition to the sign that the planet is said to rule. Although this passes within a few months, it has significance for the whole year because of its presence at New Year.
It means that every Aries feels somewhat lacking the usual power and energy, and experiences many incidents of unusual incapacity – impotence in the broad sense of the word would be even more accurate. Aries is not famous for being weak, but this year – especially the first few months of it – that's what many Aries experience, much to their surprise as well as that of those who know them. This actually goes on until August, when mars leaves Libra for Scorpio.
Uranus in Aries also has an opposition aspect to the Ascendant of the 2014 world horoscope. That's not very relevant to the private life of Aries, but it indicates complete refusal to comply with a strict moralistic attitude to social life, which is what society as a whole seems to be preaching. Aries will not allow society to dictate what ethics to adapt.
Not that FortunateFor the first half of the year, Aries can't expect to be very lucky. Everything takes hard work and nothing comes for free. That's because until July, Jupiter is in Cancer, at square distance to Aries. Jupiter is the planet of good fortune and easy expansion.
It's not that critical for any Aries, since they don't expect to get much without putting in an effort anyway. Aries likes to conquer, no matter what obstacles need to be overcome. Luck is rarely something Aries expects or even hopes for.
Still, it can be frustrating at times, when aspirations are repeatedly met with resistance seemingly coming from chance and fate.
Few Events in 2014Events most likely to appear for just about every Aries during 2014 are those signaled by transit movement of planets through the sign.
At New Year, Uranus is already in Aries, as stated above, and it will remain there until 2019. Apart from that, no planet of major astrological importance in transit will enter Aries during 2014.
The sun, Mercury and Venus will pass through it, like every year, in the spring time. The moon returns there every month. But those are transits that return every year, so they have no particular significance in how 2014 will be for Aries. The major thing remains to be Uranus slowly passing through the sign. That's enough interesting to last a lifetime in the mind of every Aries.
Except for Uranus, Aries will have to wait until February 2015 for a significant planetary transit, when Mars passes through the sign – that's when every Aries will feel enforced.
Not until 2023 will one of the slow and therefore particularly significant planets enter Aries. That's Jupiter, bringing the luck that Aries didn't really miss anyway but then gets in abundance.
